Updated 23:02, 15-Jan-2020

There are only few days until the arrival of Spring Festival. Most Chinese are geared up for the trip back to their hometown for a family reunion. The "village of silversmiths", located in southwest China's Guizhou Province, is no exception. Known as the most well-preserved place for the silver forging crafts of the ethnic Miao groups, the Maliao Village in Leishan County is on the list of national intangible cultural heritage for its preservation of most ethnic Miao culture. CGTN takes the "green train", which serves as the only commuter in the village to the outside world, to see how locals welcome the Spring Festival in 2020.
