Rime has been decorating pine trees on Banshan Mountain in Wuxiang County, north China's Shanxi Province.

Located in the foothills of Taihang Mountains in southeastern Shanxi, Banshan Mountain stands at an average altitude of over 1,800 meters, with the highest peak at about 2,008 meters. Its board-shaped massif is known as the "most beautiful place of the Taihang Mountains."

Rime ice forms when cool water droplets freeze on surfaces.
