Wild donkeys play on snow-covered grassland
00:32

A herdsman recently came across a group of 70 to 80 Tibetan wild asses (Equus kiang) running on the snowy grassland. As an internationally endangered species, such a huge number is rare to see. With a disproportionately big head, the kiang is the largest of the wild asses, usually weighing 250 to 360 kilograms. It is a highland animal under first-class national protection in China.
