U.S.-China sign massive purchase deal, more tariffs conflict to be eased

China agreed to purchase an additional 200 billion U.S. dollars' worth of U.S. goods over two years, all compared to a 2017 baseline of U.S. exports to China, to cut a U.S. trade deficit that peaked at 420 billion U.S. dollars in 2018.
