China successfully launched its first private 5G low-orbit broadband satellite using a Kuaizhou-1A (KA-1A) carrier rocket, a solid-fuel carrier rocket with an international general interface, developed by China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation for the commercial space launch market. With high reliability and a short preparation period, the rocket is mainly used to launch low-orbit microsatellites. The satellite has a communication capacity of 10 gigabytes per second and will provide 5G communication services through satellite terminals.
