Chinese President Xi Jinping has left Beijing for Myanmar, on a two-day state visit to mark the 70th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations. It will be the first visit to the country by a Chinese president in 19 years. Xi Jinping is expected to promote the implementation of the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor under the Belt and Road Initiative.
