Premier Li holds symposium with foreign experts

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang presided over a symposium on Friday attended by representatives of foreign experts working in China.

Experts from Israel, Britain, Germany, Singapore, the United States and France gave advice on various issues including fundamental research, technological innovation, personnel training, cultural exchange, finance and energy development.  

Li had an in-depth exchange of views with the participants, telling them that China is always a staunch force safeguarding world peace and was committed to multilateralism and free trade.

He said China will continue to open its door wider to the rest of the world so as to achieve win-win cooperation. 

The premier welcomed foreign experts to China, which he said will further improve policies to better facilitate their work and lives. He also expressed the hope that they will offer more advice to promote the common development of China and the world.
