An ice carnival themed "Making the Winter Olympics better with me" was held on Mencheng Lake along Yongding River in Beijing's Mentougou District.

People of various ages participated in the carnival, performing their best moves on ice.

Mentougou District has been promoting winter sports since Beijing began preparations for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games.

Now, students in primary and middle schools in the district have an opportunity to receive professional winter sports training.
