(L-R) China's Wang Yilyu, Huang Dongping, Huang Yaqiong, and Zheng Siwei celebrate on the podium after their Indonesia Masters badminton mixed doubles final, January 19, 2020.
Defending champions Zheng Siwei and Huang Yaqiong on Sunday regained their mixed doubles title at the Indonesia Masters 2020 after defeating their compatriots Wang Yilyu and Huang Dongping in Jakarta.
The world No. 1 mixed doubles downed world No. 2 pair in the event by 21-9 and 21-9.
In a press conference, Zheng said he and Huang managed to beat Wang/Huang in 25 minutes as the former believed that the latter could not give their maximum performance.
"Our opponents were not in a fit condition which of course affected their performance in the match," Zheng said.
"Honestly, their performance was usually not like that," he added.
