The 2020 Datong Lantern Show opened on Monday in north China's Shanxi Province. More than 40 types of lantern have lit up the city walls in downtown Datong and many traditional festive performances are also taking place to celebrate Chinese New Year, including the spectacular molten iron performance, a shehuo show, dragon and lion dancing and stilt walking. The lantern festival will last till February 16.
