Chinese President Xi Jinping has told French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel that his country is ready and willing to join the international community to combat the Wuhan coronavirus. President Xi made the comments in a phone call with the two European leaders on Wednesday. He told Macron that China has been transparent and taken steps to prevent the spread of the virus.
