As it arrives in the world, the golden snub-nosed monkey cub is overwhelmed by the love of its family. Yet it truly feels safe and warm when embraced by its mother. As one of the "four precious species in the Qinling Mountains," the monkey is under first-class protection at the national level.

Being referred to as a "dragon vein" in the history of China, the Qinling Mountains stretch over 1,600 kilometers east-west. The natural barrier stands between subtropic and temperate zones, providing suitable habitats for abundant species. The 12-episode Qinling Mountains Series offers a glimpse at the incredible biodiversity of the region.
