Jinwei Lake in Baoji, northwest China's Shanxi Province, has welcomed flocks of migratory birds this winter.

At present, more than 20 kinds of migratory birds have arrived in Baoji, including egrets, whooper swans, grey herons, mallards, and nationally first-class protected Chinese mergansers.

As the environment of Baoji improves, the population, and variety, of migratory birds there has increased each year.
