World Health Organization (WHO) gives an update on the new coronavirus at the United Nations' biweekly briefing. An emergency committee on the virus was convened on Wednesday and Thursday local time and concluded the event did not constitute a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC). The committee is ready to be reconvened as needed.
