Which team owns the toughest home court in today's NBA? The answer is the Heat, which were 20-1 at the American Airlines Arena until Friday. The visiting Clippers gave the Heat their second home loss as Kawi Leonard dropped the first triple-double (33 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists) in his career.

"I guess it's a great honor. But I'm just more happy with the win. That's it," said Leonard after the game.

This is already Leonard's seventh 30+point game in a row but he did not do so well in the first half in which he was only scored 2-11 to get seven points. Fortunately for the Clippers, their No. 1 ace player did not let them wait for too long before he exploded in the third quarter to get 17 points. The Clippers also took advantage of Leonard's scoring momentum to launch a 38-20 run this quarter, regaining the lead.

Nonetheless, Miami were able to keep such an impressive record at home for a reason. In the fourth quarter, the team began to punch the Clippers in their vulnerable paint, forcing them to close in and kept burying triples. As the Clippers' lead was being nibbled, Leonard stood out again. In the final 1:06 of the fourth quarter, he drained one triple and made all four free throws, making sure that his team hold on to their lead until the end.

Friday's loss hurt the Heat more than just a game because their franchise player Jimmy Butler had to return to the locker room because of ankle injury and never returned again. So far there's no telling whether he will miss more games or not.

Despite the loss, the Heat caused enough trouble for the Clippers and Dion Waiters was one of the reasons that they could. Friday's game was the 28-year-old's first this season after he had to miss so many opportunities because of suspension and injury. Having played 17 minutes off the bench, Waiters put down 14 points, four rebounds and buried four 3-pointers.

His highlight happened in the last minute. The Clippers were leading 118-112 and Lou Williams was handling the ball and trying to shoot a 3-pointer. Waiters blocked him twice, rushed to the Clippers' 3-point line, received the ball, pulled up and then, "Splash." The score difference was narrowed down to three points (118-115) and that was the closest the Heat came reversing the situation.

"When I called him, in typical Dion fashion, he said, 'I'm ready.' It was good to have him out there," said Miami's head coach Erik Spoelstra.

"I felt great for Dion, seeing him bounce back for all the things he's been through and all the ups and downs he's had throughout this season and off season. I'm proud of Dion to do what he had this game, and hopefully he can keep that going moving forward," said Miami's center Bam Adebayo.

James Borrego put French forward Nicolas Batum into the starting lineup for the event.

However, the hero of the game was still Giannis Antetokounmpo who scored 30 points, 16 rebounds and six assists, including 13+3+2 in the last quarter. Thanks to his efforts, the Bucks led 38-25 in this quarter and sealed the win.

This was already the seventh 30+15+5 game by Antetokounmpo and the rest of the players in the league together only have seven games like this. The last time anyone could do it since the NBA-ABA merger (in 1976) was Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in the 1977-78 season.

Two star football players of the Paris-Saint Germain (PSG), Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, also watched the game in the arena. After the game, the two exchanged jerseys and sneakers with Antetokounmpo.

The victory in Paris made the Bucks the first team to reach 40 wins this season. There were six teams in the league's history what have ever reached 40-6 in their first 46 games and five of them ended winning the NBA Championship in their seasons. The Golden State Warriors in the 2015-16 season were the only exception.
