The outbreak of the novel coronavirus continues to affect many aspects of life in China, including tourism. Authorities have now suspended group tours in the country. The China Travel Service Association noted that ongoing tours could continue with their programs, but participants should remain vigilant. It has also suspended outbound group tours from January 27. It said tourists and travel agencies could negotiate outstanding issues according to their contracts and related laws.
