The first medical assistance team from the south Chinese city of Guangzhou is joining in the fight against coronavirus in Wuhan, the city at the epicenter of the outbreak. The 128-strong team departed on the eve of Chinese New Year, a time usually set for family reunions in China. They are now providing medical assistance at Hankou Hospital, where 70 suspected patients have already been admitted. Before entering the ward, medical staff received strict training on how to put on and take off protective gear.
