Updated 16:02, 27-Jan-2020

Officials are holding a press conference on novel coronavirus control in Guangdong. Zhang Guangjun, vice governor of Guangdong Province, briefs the media and takes questions from reporters. As of January 26, Guangdong has confirmed 146 cases of novel coronavirus, according to China's National Health Commission. Guangdong now has the second most confirmed cases in China.

The pneumonia outbreak was first reported in Wuhan, central China's Hubei Province, in December 2019. Experts have attributed the outbreak to a novel coronavirus that has since spread across China and abroad.
