Wuhan Huoshenshan Hospital construction has entered its fourth day. Following the model of Xiaotangshan Hospital in Beijing during the fight against SARS in 2003, Huoshenshan Hospital is designed to have an area of 25,000 square meters and will provide 700 to 1,000 beds, according to local authorities.

Huoshenshan Hospital will be put into use by February 2 and will be managed by the Chinese military. Leishenshan Hospital, Wuhan's other specialized hospital, will hold 1,300 beds and is expected to be put into use by February 5.
