Measures have been taken in China to prevent the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) outbreak. Wuhan authorities decided to build two makeshift hospitals, Huoshenshan Hospital with a capacity of 700 to 1,000 beds and Leishenshan Hospital with 1,300 to 1,500 beds, to treat the new pneumonia patients. Construction on the two facilities is underway. The Huoshenshan and Leishenshan hospitals will be put into use on February 3 and February 5, respectively.
