WHO official: coronavirus's low mortality rate is less deadly than thought

The mortality rate of the 2019 coronavirus has settled to around two percent, which is a far lower number than it appeared at the beginning, said Gauden Galea, World Health Organization (WHO) Representative in China, in a CGTN exclusive interview on February 5.

Even it is a life-threatening disease, it is not as deadly as it was originally thought, said Galea.
