The government of central China's Hubei Province briefs the public on containing the novel coronavirus after more than 20,000 cases have been confirmed as of Friday in the province, the epicenter of the outbreak, since the crisis began.

The construction of Leishenshan Hospital in Wuhan, Hubei Province, for coronavirus patients has been completed. It's now passed the inspection required before starting to receive patients. To contain the virus and give proper treatment to patients, prefab hospitals and modular "Fang Cang" hospitals are being built in Wuhan and the surrounding area.

Officials are to give an update and answer questions from the media.
