U.S. President Donald Trump has been acquitted in his impeachment trial by the Republican-led Senate. It comes seven weeks after the Democratic-led House impeached him on charges of abuse of power, and obstruction of Congress. Trump remains impeached, but Wednesday's vote means he will not be removed from office.
