As the first solar term, Lichun, which means the beginning of spring, arrived days ago, the bud of water lilies in Sanya City, south China's Hainan Province silently blossom in the pond, as if they are responding the call of spring vividly.
Water lily is an aquatic herb grows in temperate and tropical areas. Its blossoming period usually depends on several factors, including humidity and temperature. Water lilies in China usually bloom in May. The Hainan Province is the southernmost island of China, thus the hot and humid weather allows the beautiful water lilies' flowers to meet the world earlier.
