A woman in east China used a remote control car to buy steamed buns in a shop amid the coronavirus outbreak. She is a car enthusiast and modified the controller to operate at a range of up to 800 meters. The shop is around 400 meters away from her apartment. Since she wrote her phone number on the car, the shop owner added her information to allow for mobile payments.
