People from all walks of life actively donated money and supplies to the Chinese mainland to help fight the novel coronavirus pneumonia (NCP). As of Monday, donations of over one billion RMB (about 143 million U.S. dollars) have come via government bodies like the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong SAR.
