A boy burst into tears seconds after his father left for duty in central China's Hubei Province. His father belongs to the police force and has been working for 10 days because of the novel coronavirus outbreak. The father came home to pick up necessities during a short break. Fearing the risk of cross-infection, he did not enter the house and could only see his son from distance. The son smiled for his dad and left a bag of necessities at the door for him. But seconds after seeing his father off, the boy burst into tears.
