A courageous Indian doctor chose to stay in China and treat victims of the novel coronavirus outbreak, instead of returning back to his country, even after pressure from his mother to come home.
Amish Vyas, who is a native of Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, is currently living in Hangzhou in southeast China with his wife and daughter, and works at a quarantine camp for suspected coronavirus sufferers.
Amish studied medicine in China, and works as a plastic surgeon, having lived in Hangzhou since 2014.
