Beijing FC (Beijing Guoan FC) kicked off the AFC Champions League for Chinese clubs in the Group Stage by winning Chiangrai United 1-0 at Singha Stadium in Chiangrai, Thailand, on Tuesday night.
Forward Wang Ziming, 23, scored the only goal from the left side for Beijing at the 23rd minute under the assist from Spanish midfielder Jonathan Viera.

The first Group matches for Guangzhou Evergrande, Shanghai SIPG and Shanghai Shenhua – the other three Chinese clubs – were put off due to the outbreak of coronavirus in China.
