The Standing Committee of the Wuhan Municipal People's Congress passed a resolution on Monday to further prevent and control the novel coronavirus in the epicenter, and these 10 regulations shall be effective as of the date of promulgation.
The authorities and related departments should ensure that no confirmed or suspected patients of the novel coronavirus are left unattended, according to the resolution.
The authorities should better inform the public of relevant information about the virus, it said.
The resolution also stressed necessary guarantees and facilities for the voluntary organizations and volunteers to fight the virus.
It also noted that individuals should protect themselves according to the requirements of epidemic prevention and control work, and compulsory measures are allowed for those who disobey the management.

Patients with severe or minor symptoms, as long as the diagnosis is confirmed, all should be located and treated, said Wang Zhonglin on Monday when chairing a meeting on the work against the outbreak.
Wang was appointed secretary of the Wuhan Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and a member of the Standing Committee of the Hubei Provincial Committee of the CPC last Thursday.
He also stressed the importance of treatment for ordinary patients who are not infected with the novel coronavirus.
"Every call from the public should be taken seriously," Wang said, noting that officials should better take advantage of various platforms, such as the mayor hotline, apps on mobile phones and so on.
