Beijing has carried out disinfection operations in public places and facilities to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus since late January. Upon entering any public building, you have to get your temperature taken, and hand sanitizers are available at the entrance. 

Other measures, such as regulations on self-quarantine, the extension of the Lunar New Year holiday for students, and people working from home are being taken, not only in Beijing but also across the country.
