Seventeen trucks loaded with supplies drove from Guizhou Province to E'zhou City, Hubei Province. Along the way, they found many twisting mountain roads, bridges, and tunnels. To keep the trucks safe, starting from 4 a.m., highway police from Xiangxi Prefecture escorted the convoy.
