Fifteen trucks loaded with food set off Wednesday night from the city of Linfen in north China's Shanxi Province. After 40 hours of driving, they arrived in Hubei Province on Friday, which is around 1,300 kilometers away from Shanxi. The truck team has brought 180 tons of fresh vegetables, 13,800 boxes of apples and pears, 1,500 packages of local specialties to the cities of Wuhan, Xiantao, Qianjiang and Tianmen in Hubei. All the food was donated by the municipal party committee and government of Linfen.
