The National Radio and Television Administration (NRTA) said it urgently coordinated the donation of the copyright of 15 outstanding TV series to allow them to be shown in Hubei Province.

The 15 series cover genres such as medical drama, revolutionary history, modern urban and rural living and traditional Chinese culture. The hits "Nirvana in Fire" and "A Little Reunion" are included on the list.

On January 24, the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the NRTA had donated the broadcasting rights of 10 excellent TV series to Hubei radio and television station and Wuhan radio and television station.

The free TV series are to help people in Hubei to tide over their time at home in self-quarantine during the COVID-19 epidemic.
