Due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, many Chinese people are getting their first haircuts of the year at home on Dragon Head-raising Day. The day is the first time in the New Year that some will have a haircut since doing so in the first lunar month is considered to incur bad luck in traditional Chinese culture.
