North China's Shanxi Province has resumed its China-Europe freight train service amid the new coronavirus outbreak. The first train left the city of Jinzhong on February 25 and is expected to reach Minsk, Belarus in 15 days. Green channels on highways and railways have also opened to transport goods for the China-Europe freight train. Local railway officials say Shanxi's China-Europe freight train will return to its normal frequency – one train per week – as more companies resume operation.
