For the past two months, provinces and regions across China have been doing a lot of the same thing – supporting their local populations, while also lending a helping hand to the epicenter of the COVID-19 outbreak, Hubei Province.
Conghua District, north of Guangzhou's city center, comprises a green landscape. It is home to holiday resorts, sprawling hills and plenty of space for farming and harvesting. The district is also home to a tech-park, whose companies have made sizeable donations to hospitals in Hubei.
Several businesses in Conghua are taking part in the area's epidemic prevention program. This includes providing fresh fruits and vegetables at stable costs and making them available to customers through delivery platforms. One company that manufactures medical disinfectant has also returned to work to produce several donation shipments for central China.
