Plum blossoms add color to a quiet spring in epidemic-hit China

While many people are stuck at home amid the coronavirus outbreak in China, spring has come as promised, adding a pop of color to trees.

In normal years, late February is a popular outing time in China to see the advent of spring and enjoy the blooming flowers.

This year, because of the epidemic, many people have chosen to stay at home, which is accepted as an effective way to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.
