Silently, spring gradually paces through each part of China, and soon arrives in the Langzhong ancient city in Nanchong, southwest China's Sichuan Province. Warm breeze and rainfall wakes up the flowers of the Asiatic apple tree, which bloom vividly and add a shade of pink in the antique city's gardens.

Though some flower petals drop down to the mud because of the rain, the scenery still attract many visitors, as famous literati Gong Zizhen from Qing Dynasty (1636 - 1911) states in his poem: "Red blossoms, though fallen, have some feeling still. Turned into mud in spring they want to protect the tree."
