Clouds and fogs make Yellow Mountain a real-life Chinese ink painting - CGTN

In ancient China, artists painted with only ink and water. Though the paintings had no other color except for different shades of grey, white and black, Chinese ink painting are endowed with a special grace and beauty. It is reasonable to believe that the ancient artists learnt the technique from nature, and the pictures below are solid proof. On February 26, 2020, the renowned Yellow Mountain scenic area in Anhui province, east China, was shrouded with cloud and fog. Most colors were erased and covered by the mist, making the mountain a replica of a water-ink painting or vice versa.
