Spring brings back the roaring Hukou Waterfall in north China

As spring's warmth melts the ice, the Yellow River's Hukou Waterfalls, located at the intersection of Shaanxi and Shanxi Province, are receiving huge amount of water from upstream. The water roaring down from the top of waterfall is a majestic scene.

Hukou Waterfall is the largest yellow waterfall in the world. Every year, the Hukou Waterfall welcomes countless of visitors from all over the world that come to China just for a glance of this beautiful spot.

This year, because of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the scenic site of Hukou Waterfall in Shaanxi Province was temporarily closed for nearly a month. On February 24, location reopened and got ready to welcome visitors amid epidemic with strict prevention and control measures.
