Amateur photographer Howard Yap captured the moment an osprey tried to grab a meal. The osprey peered through its claws to target its prey as it dived into the water. 

But despite 15 attempts, the unlucky fish-eating bird still didn't catch any food. 

The osprey is also known as the river hawk or fish hawk. It nests near a body of water, as it feeds exclusively on fish.
