The World Health Organization (WHO) declared earlier in February that the outbreak of Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) remains a public health emergency of international concern. In addition, epidemics of infectious diseases such as malaria and cholera remain serious in the DRC. On February 28, the engineering segment of China's 23rd peacekeeping force to the DRC organized a disease prevention and control drill based on the characteristics of endemic diseases in the mission area.
