As China slowly comes to grips with COVID-19, neighboring South Korea is now reporting its biggest number of daily cases.
Authorities confirmed 813 new infections, taking the country's overall tally past 3,000. They added that more than half of the new cases were from the southeastern city of Daegu, the epicenter of the country's outbreak. Another 60 were reported in the nearby province of North Gyeongsang. The government has urged people to stay indoors during what it called a "critical time."
