A medical team has markedly improved the treatment of serious COVID-19 patients with the help of remote diagnostics. The medical team from Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital (SRRSH), affiliated with Zhejiang University's School of Medicine, is the first such team to assist medical workers in Jingmen City fighting the virus.

As many as 35 medical personnel from the team took over an ICU ward and set up a remote diagnostics system. The team first took in 19 critical patients, of which five showed improvement and were transferred to regular wards. The medical team comprises key personnel specializing in infections, pulmonary ailments and intensive care. No one has died of COVID-19 in the last seven days in this hospital.
