A large-scale online recruitment starts on Sunday to offer Beijing graduates more than 40,000 positions provided by over 1,000 employers.
The recruitment called "2020 Beijing Graduates Spring Online Recruitment Month" provides a one-stop supply and demand platform, as well as one-to-one service to graduates.
Graduates can log in the platform via two websites or two WeChat public accounts to search for jobs, submit resumes, get employment guidance, and have video interviews. Employers can also give online presentations and select the resumes.
The "recruitment month" attracts municipal state-owned enterprises and many well-known private enterprises from various industries, and is expected to introduce 149 special recruitment opportunities during the two-month run.
Co-organized by Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Municipal Education Commission, and Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the "recruitment month" aims to stabilize employment and promote companies to resume production during the epidemic control period.
On Friday, the State Council announced to expand the number of postgraduate students to be enrolled on courses, as well as the number of undergraduate students from those who have graduated from junior colleges this year by 189,000 and 322,000 respectively.
The enrollment expansion will focus on majors that are urgently needed to serve national strategies and the people's livelihood.
The expanded enrollment of postgraduate students prefer majors in clinical medicine, public health, artificial intelligence and others, and the expanded enrollment of undergraduate students from those who have graduated from junior colleges prefer majors in preventive medicine, emergency management, elderly service management, e-commerce and others.
