The world-famous cherry blossom season has started in Tokyo, Japan. Some landmarks, including Tokyo Skytree and Ueno Park, are decorated with pink seas of cherry blossoms. Though the flowers bloom as usual, cherry blossom events have to be suspended. As the novel coronavirus continues to spread around the globe, Japan has cancelled all of its major cherry blossom festivals in an effort to contain the spread of the virus. It is a pity for many visitors. However, we can still appreciate the beautiful scenes through photos. Slide the gallery below and enjoy some pink feast for the eyes!
