Comedy performer joins 'Walk for Wuhan' event in U.S. to raise money

Jesse is a stand-up comedian who now works in China. He joined an event "Walk for Wuhan" in his hometown Newton, Massachusetts. The event is aimed at raising money for the fight against the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Wuhan, China. It was held between Newton City Hall and Boston College on the carriage lane of Commonwealth Ave.

The event was organized by the largest Chinese school in New England – the members of the Newton Chinese School.

All money will go to Wuhan hospitals for medical supplies, according to the organizers, and the event is also designed to raise social awareness and showcase the positive and united image in the community.
