From 6 p.m. on February 29, rioters gathered outside Mong Kok Police Station and blocked traffic. They used laser pointers against police officers, threw petrol bombs and set fires on the road. Rioters even claimed to be infected with COVID-19, and coughed on the police. Mong Kok MTR Station was once again closed. Also, rioters are suspected of lighting a fire outside a general clinic at Kwai Chung. Since the outbreak, many clinics and quarantine centers in Hong Kong have been set on fire.
