A baby tested positive for COVID-19 at just five days old. He has now recovered and been discharged from hospital in Henan Province.

He was back in the arms of his parents after being kept in a hospital over 300 kilometers away in Zhengzhou City. He was sent to Henan Children's Hospital, while four other members of his family stayed in Xinyang for treatment.

The baby was hyperventilating and had a fast heart rate upon arrival at the hospital, where he received heart and nutritional treatment. He was discharged following two negative tests for COVID-19. His family members were discharged after their recovery two weeks ago.

The parents said they named their child "Mu En" because they wanted him to remember the loving support they received from the medical workers.
